Scuba Skills Update

While your open water certification never expires, we all get a little rusty when we’re not doing something regularly. If it’s been over a year since you donned your scuba gear, we recommend taking our Scuba Skills Update before heading out to the open water. Our comfortable, 90ºF indoor dive pool has a 12 ft. deep well that is perfect for brushing up on your dive skills. One of our highly trained dive professionals will review assembling and disassembling your gear, proper buoyancy skills, and emergency procedures.

Our Scuba Skills Update is three hours, one spent in the classroom reviewing dive theory and planning and the remaining two spent refreshing your skills in the pool. Students will be given a log-in for SSI's Scuba Skills Update online material, which must be completed before class. We recommend you bring any personal dive gear that you own. You are required to have your own Mask, Fins, and Snorkel for the pool session. We have packages unhand to save you money, simply come by and see our friendly staff!

The BCD, Regulator, Weights and Tank are included in the Update.

What to bring:
